Tarot Therapy is a spiritual approach to healing. This technique utilizes the guidance of Tarot cards to help individuals embark on a journey of spiritual awakening and discovery.
While it does not replace professional counseling, Tarot Therapy creates a safe space for discussing emotional challenges, allowing the cards to offer insights and reflections that promote introspection and self-awareness.
Through this unique process, individuals can find spiritual guidance and healing, fostering a deeper connection with themselves and their experiences.
Psychic Abilities in History
Psychic power has been documented in ancient history, even in biblical accounts, but the term is often tarnished by a stigma, rather than revealed in a way the masses can understand without fear and misconceptions. Ancient Egyptian beliefs and the Greek Delphic “Oracle of Apollo" contain their share of prophets, prophecies, and psychics. As Christianity swept the Roman Empire, psychics were associated with witches and the devil. Psychic phenomenon continued to be a mystery.
It is worth noting that every book of the bible was written by and about someone with psychic abilities. Saul consulted with a medium and spoke to the dead. Mary spoke to an angel. Joseph interpreted dreams for the pharaoh. Moses parted the sea. Jesus walked on water. Revelation is the greatest prophecy ever written.
In the 1500's, a French psychic, Michael de Nostredame, published numerous prophecies. He was known most for his work, “Les Propheties,” predicting disasters, earthquakes, fires, and floods, even the September 11, 2001 tragedy.
Spiritualism and Abilities
Spiritualism was a movement in the United States and U.K. in the 1800's, which was the beginnings of a major recovery for mediums using psychic powers to communicate with the dead. The “New Age School of Thought” was birthed.
In the twentieth century, interest grew in scientific testing for psychic abilities. William McDougal and Joseph Banks Rhine at Duke University were among the first psychic researchers in the 1920s. Charles Honorton developed a ganzfeld experiment to test for ESP, and this method is still used today.
Psychic is driving on autopilot, missing a turn and avoiding a fatal accident. Psychic is having a dream that comes true. Psychic is meeting someone for the first time and getting a feeling in your gut. Psychic is praying to God and feeling the answer. Psychic is phenomena that are apparently inexplicable by natural laws, especially involving telepathy or clairvoyance of or relating to the soul or mind, and which we are attempting to understand.
Psychic Defined
A Google search for the definition of the mysterious adjective, “psychic,” displays, “. . . relating to or denoting faculties or phenomena that are apparently inexplicable by natural laws, especially involving telepathy or clairvoyance of or relating to the soul or mind;” however, the definition provides more mystery and requires we seek more information to even understand the terms which define it.
